CTIA Wireless Foundation Responds to COVID-19
During this public health crisis, CTIA Wireless Foundation is proud to continue its long-standing support of social entrepreneurs using wireless for good.
“Now, more than ever, we rely on the power of wireless to keep Americans connected and the transformative work of social entrepreneurs,” said Dori Kreiger, Executive Director, CTIA Wireless Foundation.
- Catalyst. The Foundation is committed to awarding the full grant amounts to its Catalyst finalists. These innovative social entrepreneurs are providing critical services via wireless technology to improve the health and wellness of Americans. To amplify their work, the Foundation is exploring an expansion of Catalyst to include mentorship, making connections, promotion and more.
- Accelerator Partnerships. CTIA Wireless Foundation’s Accelerator Partners deliver vital support to social entrepreneurs helping advance their impact during this challenging time. We value these efforts and are being flexible on partner deliverables and reporting deadlines. The Foundation will continue to work closely with partners to highlight the growing use of wireless technology for social good.
- Supporting Industry Initiatives. The Foundation is proud to be a part of the dynamic wireless industry. As millions of students are learning from home for the first time, CTIA launched the Connecting Kids Initiative, a program to simplify the process for school districts to find remote learning hotspot solutions by connecting them with wireless operators working to provide broadband access to kids and families in their area.
