Be Smart, Be Safe, Be Fair

The Wireless Foundation, and the innovative companies that bring telecom technologies to the world, believe education leads to smart, safe, fair and responsible behavior. Together with kids, expert educators, parents, wireless carriers and CTIA, we’ve launched the “Be Smart. Be Fair. Be Safe: Responsible Wireless Use” campaign to give parents and teachers tools to teach kids about responsible mobile device use.

The campaign also empowers teens to be responsible drivers and passengers, and educates them on environmental programs such as end-of-life phone recycling.

• Parents can access the many features and filters each wireless carrier offers, tips for their children’s wireless devices, a parent-child agreement on responsible cell phone use, an example of family wireless rules and more.
• Educators for grades 6 through 12 can download a free lesson plan.
• Policymakers will find some of the initiatives The Wireless Foundation and our partners have developed or support, and suggestions for how to help foster the digital future.
